On July 10, Samsung launched its latest foldable phones, Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip 6, at the 2024 Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris. Compared with the previous generation, the new Samsung foldable phones have improved in appearance design, performance configuration and AI.
Samsung released the Galaxy Z Fold 6, the sixth generation of foldable mobile phone, which is not only an ultra-light, ultra-thin, and powerful folding phone, but also a new stage in the development of Galaxy AI technology. Through the deep integration of AI and folding screen, it redefines the boundaries of mobile device and entertainment.
Galaxy Z Fold 6: design
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 continues the classic design of Samsung folding phone, but it has been optimized in many details. The new generation of ultra-thin flexible glass screen not only improves the touch experience, but also greatly enhances the durability of the screen. The phone body is made of lighter materials, and the same as Galaxy S24, some components use more recyclable rare earth elements.

Galaxy Z Fold 6: display
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 comes with two top-tier AMOLED screens, with the front display increasing from 6.2 inches to 6.3 inches (compared to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5) while making the panel a bit wider. Samsung Z fold 6 is now available for pre-order from July 10 with a starting price of $1,899 in a total of five colors - Crafted Black, White, Pink, Navy, and Silver Shadow. A full release will take place for the US and UK on July 24, with Australia needing to wait for July 31.
