When is the new apple watch coming out?
It's less than a month away from Apple September event. As usual, in addition to the new iPhone 16, Apple Watch will also usher in iterative upgrades at this September 9. From the leaks, Apple Watch Series, SE, and Ultra will all have new models.

Apple Watch Series 10
According to rumors, 2024 Apple Watch Series 10 will feature a thinner body design and a further larger display, possibly measuring 45mm and 49mm.
Both versions of the Apple Watch Series 10 are large in size, and the largest 49mm version is the same as the current Apple Watch Ultra. Therefore, it is also important to note the question of whether the original 41mm band will fit the new watch, and if not then it will be time for a new Apple Watch band.

While the overall design of the Apple Watch Series 10 may not change much, the larger screen will undoubtedly bring users a better visual experience.
In terms of configuration, the Apple Watch Series 10 will come with a new S10 chip that may extend battery life, which not only improves performance, but may also lay the foundation for adding AI features in the future, although Apple Intelligence is not currently planned to be fully introduced into the Apple Watch. Apple Watch SE (3rd-gen)
Apple is also developing a new version of its low-cost Apple Watch SE model, which was last updated in 2022. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the new Apple Watch SE will replace the aluminum case with plastic and will be available in a range of more youthful colors.
One benefit of plastic material is that it can reduce costs. It is reported that the price of the new Apple Watch SE is expected to drop to around US$200 to compete with cheaper competitors on the market.
The SE series is mainly for young consumers, but it has not been reflected in the design before. The new Apple Watch SE will introduce more bold and flamboyant colors in the plastic case, and the price will be more affordable, which may further open up a more vibrant young market.
Apple Watch Ultra 3
Compared to the new Apple Watch SE and Apple Watch Series 10, the upgrade of the third-generation Apple Watch Ultra is not very obvious, and there may not be major design changes. From the leaks, the main change in the Apple watch Ultra 3 adds a new Deep Sky Gray color, which is one more option for Ultra users.
Apple is also considering manufacturing changes, including the use of 3D-printed chassis for some Apple Watch models, which could speed up production and reduce material use in line with environmental concerns.
In general, both the Apple Watch Series 10 and the new Apple Watch SE will be upgraded, with the Series 10 getting bigger in size and richer in health features. The new Apple Watch SE changes to a more youthful design and is expected to be priced lower. As for the Apple Watch Ultra 3, it's still a regular upgrade.
